We often see them in GMA 7's Party Pilipinas and other KAPUSO shows, but it took five months bago binigyan ng project, na masasabing sila ang bida ang Starstruck V Top 4 na sina Sarah Lahbati, Steven Silva, Enzo Pineda at DIVA MONTELABA. Ito nga ay ang LOVE BUG "EXCHANGE OF HEARTS" -a four part love story that supposedly run in 4 consecutive Sundays.

This show started on July 18 and expected to end on Aug 8, but due to airing of 2 boxing bouts ( July 25 and Aug. 15) in lieu of this show, ang 4th and FINALE EPISODE ay bukas pa lang mapapanood, AUGUST 22, 2010. I HOPE EVERYBODY WOULD NOT SWITCH CHANNEL AFTER PARTY PILIPINAS.

Let's all find out what will happen to the affairs of Barbie (Diva), Tim (Steven), Rachel (Sarah) and Emil (Enzo). Does the title of the show gives us the conclusion? Or will they choose to remain with their current partners? Bukas pa ang revelation so don't fail to watch.

Diva Strut her Stuff for Modelo Pilipinas Graduation Fashion Event

Fourth time na rumampa ni Diva Montelaba bilang isa nang celebrity…Una ay sa 2010 Guess Spring-Summer Collection show noong February 9, together with other Starstruck finalists, avengers and graduates; pangalawa ay noong Bench Fashion Week last May 31 kasama ng iba’t-ibang celebrities at professional models; ikatlo ay ang Bench Denim and Underwear Fashion Show na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum nitong July 2 at ang latest ay ang Graduation Fashion Show of Modelo Pilipinas, ang casting and training center for modeling kung saan ay nabigyan ng pagkakataon si Diva na mag-training thru GMAAC.

Marami ang nakakaalam na hindi na masasabing bago kay Diva ang pagmomodelo. In fact noong nasa Cebu pa siya ay ginagawa na niya ang pagrampa. Napasok na din niya minsan ang print ad. Dahil kinakitaan siya ng malaking potensiyal ng GMMAC,binigyan siya ng chance sumailalim sa training para lalo pa niyang ma-enhance ang kanyang kakayahan sa larangang ito.Bilang isa sa naging finalists ng reality show na Starstruck V, hindi na nakakagulat na maka-hakot siya ng atensiyon sa mga nanonood ng fashion show. Pero hindi lang dahil sa isa na siyang artista kung hindi dahil na din sa natural na husay ni Diva sa pagrampa.Napatunayan ito ng mapansin siya at makakuha ng mga positive remarks sa pag-rampa noong Bench Fashion Week. She is confident. she has a good posture, maganda ang height at maraming nakapagsabi na natural na magaling siya magdala ng kanyang sarili, mahusay lumakad kung kaya’t di ako magtataka na soon she’ll have her own star sa larangan ng pagmomodelo at makikilala siya sa sarili niyang istilo at galaw.

Nitong nakaraang Linggo, Agosto 1, idinaos ang graduation ng 27^th batch. With that confidence Diva had built in herself, sa aking obserbasyon, hindi maikakaila ng mga manonood sa araw na iyon na nag-stand out si Diva. Minsan pa pinatunayan niya na tunay na kung mahal mo ang isang bagay na ginagawa mo, hindi magiging mahirap para sa iyo na gawin ito at umangat sa nakararami.

HEART TO HEART WITH STARSTRUCK DIVA MONTELABA

LET’S TALK ABOUT another Cebuana singer/actress ‘gurl’ Diva Montelaba, o si Hyacienth Diva Montelaba in real life. Oh my! She honestly talked to me about herself. It was a confession with a heart. Expressly, I say she’s not an ordinary girl because of her experiences as a systematic, smart, streetwise person. But actually, she’s very frank at mapagmasid sa paligid. Malakas ang kanyang power at mindset to overcome all challenges. I think she’s a very good, charismatic type of an actress.

Diva is a tough girl, real pretty Morena and true blooded Filipina. Laki siya sa lola niya at kamakailan lamang ay na-confine ito. Tayo naman ay nagbibigay ng moral support at prayer para rito dahil ito na ang itinuturing na pangalawang ina ni Diva. Pagaling ho, kayo.

How about your dad? “I don’t have my dad. I never experienced being with my dad.” How about your mom? “She has her own family, so I grew up with my lola.”

Ooh whatta girl! So sad really, but don’t worry, you’ll gonna grow more mature and you’ll become a big star. Now na! Ha-ha-ha-ha! Ako na lang ang dad mo kaya? Wow! Dami ko nang anak.

ANG BIG DREAM AY ‘YONG PROMISE KAY GRANDMA

Ano ang naging dream mo at napunta ka sa Kapuso? “Ang talagang pangarap ko lang talaga eh, si Mama (grandmother) kasi I have this promise naman talaga. Alam naman natin na mawawala tayo sa mundo. May promise ako sa kanya, kasi nga siya iyong nagpalaki sa akin. Alam ko maibibigay ko sa kanya, kasi gusto niyang pumunta ng Amerika. So ayun po… ‘yun ang pinanghahawakan ko talaga.”

Ah, hindi na malayo kasi kapag may mga projects, pupunta ka tiyak sa ibang bansa. At ‘di malayo ang pangarap, abot-kamay lang kung masipag lang. Nanay, pagaling ho kayo pupunta pa kayo ng ibang bansa (America). ‘Yun ang promise ni Diva sa inyo dahil ayon sa kanya, ikaw ang itinuturing niyang ina, as in walang iba. Wow, huh! Go, go girl!

HOBBY NG BIDANG DIVA

“Ako kasi iyong tipikal na bata sa probinsiya. Naglalaro sa kalsada, nagba-bike, naglalaro sa… alam mo iyong farm? Mga ganu’n.”

At alam ninyo, sinabi niyang cowboy siya’t marunong ding sumakay ng kalabaw. “Kaya, hindi malayong sobrang cowboy ako ngayon, lumaki akong cowboy.”

Ang hobby mo gurl? “Ay, billiards! Saka basketball!” Ay! Panlalaki, ha-ha-ha!

PAANO MAGKATIPO SA GUY

“Iba kasi ako, ‘pag may gusto ako sa lalaki, mas madali kong nako-close. Kasi parang barkada lang at kinikilig din ako na hindi halata. Alam mo ‘yun, kung kumportable sa isa’t isa, tipong pare-pare. Ako iyong kaibigan na malalapitan mo kahit gaano kalaki ang problema. Saka ako iyong kaibigan na super ipinapakita ko talaga kung ano iyong dapat bilang kaibigan.” Nice girl. “Joker ako, sobra-sobra. Patawa, ganu’n.”

Mas gusto mo ba iyon dahil parang outlet mo, or what? “Ah, iyon talaga ako even before, eh. Parang sa dinami-dami ng problema ko, kahit parang unti-unti nawawala.”

Ah, ano ang masasabi mo para sa Pinoy Parazzi? “Hayun! Uy, na-cover ako sa Pinoy Parazzi nu’n, huh! I want to say thank you kasi may mga write-ups and articles na may style, natutuwa kami. Generally sa press, thank you, kasi ‘yung nakakaharap ko at nakakausap ko, ang babait. Sa Pinoy Parazzi, thank you. Sobrang sikat kayo ngayon. Congratulations! Sana, I would have interviews, every other time, para you would know about us. Suportahan ninyo po kami.”

Mga kaparatsi, naimbitahan ang inyong lingkod bilang kapartner sa radio. Abangan ninyo ang usapan namin sa “Ang Showbiz Grande and Talk w/ Zaldy” tuwing Linggo 2:00-3:00 ng hapon. Regular ninyong mapapakinggan ito sa DZXQ 1350 khz AM Radio. Isang oras ng talakan sa aking kaibigang si Zaldy Rolex. Pinag-uusapan namin ang mga kinikilalang artista, pinupuri natin at pinupuna.
