After undergoing a series of workshops and trainings to maximize and strengthen their star potentials, "StarStruck V’s" Final 4 face their very first full length acting stint on television as they grab the limelight in the newest offering of "Lovebug, Exchange of Hearts."
Full of sweet revelations and romantic escapades, this four-part episode, shot in the island-paradise of Camiguin, is topbilled by fastest-rising teen stars Sarah Lahbati as Rachel, Steven Silva as Tim, Diva Montelaba as Barbie and Enzo Pineda as Emil.
Rachel and Tim are childhood friends. Because of their closeness, their respective parents wish they end up together. But both are aware this can’t happen since Rachel is committed with Emil while Tim has Barbie as his girlfriend.
But their parents think otherwise. Rachel’s mother conspires with Tim’s mother to set up the two. They hie off to Camiguin for a vacation. At first, Rachel and Tim argue but the more they spend time together, the more Tim falls for Rachel.
Meanwhile, Barbie and Emil stalk their respective flames all over Camiguin. As they spy on Rachel and Tim, they grow closer and hit it off right away.
Director Andor Ranay is at the helm of this charming romantic comedy. Joining the cast is Angelu de Leon.
"Lovebug’s" newest offering begins July 18 on GMA.
